Pimples in the throat

When I started my new drug for pain last April, about two weeks into it I thought  had a hair in my throat and proceeded to try get it out.Now after 5 months and three visits to the Dr.nothing is showing. Is this an allergy?to my new meds?I quit the drug only for abit and nochange.I will try longer and see,but Dr.says not allergy.
Oxy-neo just come out so how could the Dr. even know??
To me I think that the new meds is  the trouble, but I have to take something for pain, and Dr. will not change it.YET.

Sounds like pus pockets. They are a sign that your body is trying to fight off infection. It's like an extra dose of WBC that take the firm of "pimples" in the throat. I been getting them since I was 12

this doesn't sound like a herpes issue.

have you seen an ENT specialist?
