Please help me...i have great anxiety.

Yesterday night i went to strip club and there are two different scenarios that are freaking me out. Please help me...i have great anxiety.
Scenario 1 I have a cut on my finger about three days back. It is healing and i had a band aid. However I remember i touched the stripper vagina over her pantys while dancing for about 5 seconds. Will i get herpes on my hand as i had a medium size cut on my hand
Scenaio2 i was drinking at the club and all of a sudden I went to restroom leaving my beer behind and came back and drank the little leftovers. If someone with active herpes or asymptomatic symptoms had drank my beer and i drank afterwards will i get herpes on lips. The internet says yes and herpes can happen by sharing drinks

Really worried. I wanted to avoid all these places for some years however i have high desire for them to go....not sure if this has anything to do with the medication I am having...any help is greatly appreciated

Scenario 1 - Herpes doesn't go through clothing, so you're fine.

Scenario 2 - In theory, this is possible, but it's far more likely that you'd get their cold, flu, strep throat, etc. Herpes dies pretty quickly once exposed to air.

I don't know what meds you're on, and don't need to know, but if it's causing compulsive behaviors, you should talk to your doctor about that.

I wouldn't worry about either scenario.

Herpes does not exist in saliva. It is on the skin, so unless saliva comes into contact with the skin, there is no virus in it.

Really, I wouldn't worry about this at all. Not even a little bit.

Are you getting therapy, too? Medications are great, but lots of studies prove that medications and therapy together work best.

I wish you the best. You don't have to worry about herpes here at all, but I hope you find relief from your anxiety and compulsions.

I did try the therpy however my insurance did not cover...let me see if my new insurance covers i will check with the doctor in my next visit

Also i believe i dont have to worry about other stds right...because no sexual activity has happened

No, you do not need testing at any time for either scenario. You had no risk.

Apologize one last question:::what if i drank someone else's beer who left that table and it was same level as mine and i drank it....this might be not possible at all...just wanted to know so that can help others and rule out my anxious brain

Same thing as someone drinking from yours - once it's exposed to air, there really isn't a risk.

I wouldn't recommend drinking from someone else's drink, but again, that's because that's a really good way to spread colds, flus, strep, etc.

I dont know what i was thinking . I recollect everything except the bottle drink. I actually was talking to a girl not at restroom. Only that incident is blackedout and i remember everything else and then my brain says u forgot the bottle at table and came back after 10 minutes to drink it

I know it's easy for me to say, but let this go. You really don't need to worry about it.

Look into the counseling again. It can really help.
