Please help

In the crece of my inner thigh its really dry. It was itching for a few days but I didn't think nothing of it because I had been sweating a lot at work and just thought maybe it was jock itch or folliculitus. But yesterday it was itching and I went to look and I saw a circle spot on the crece of my inner thigh. Its not a blister but it was itchy but then it stopped and the skin is really dry around it and it has went down a lot. The doctor told me it's not herpes if its not on my penis because this has happened before years ago but I'm just worried if it herpes. Its no blister and there was hair sticking out. Does this soundconsistent with genital herpes?

You can get herpes in areas not on your penis (and really, maybe find a new doc for your STD concerns), but it sounds more like an infected hair follicle or a fungal infection, like you thought. If it lingers, go to an STD clinic or someplace similar and get it checked. Even if it's not an STD, they have seen all types of lumps and bumps, and will probably be able to identify it.
