Thank you for your reply! Its definatly helped me calm down knowing the chances are low. I know, it was a bad decsion and I've been freaking out ever since. Nottt worth the stress!!! Im going to contact the man and see when the last time he got tested was as well.
There has been a bit of itching, but I think its a combo of irritation, dry skin, and psychological worry.
I've had my first 2 gardasil shots, just waiting about 5 more months until I can get the last one.
unprotected oral sex isn't safe sex. you should always be giving and receiving protected oral sex !
performing oral sex is low risk. You can contract hsv2 orally though the risk is very low. You also can contract gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and hpv from doing so.
receiving oral sex is also low risk. hsv1 genitally is your biggest risk from receiving oral sex.
so what do you do now? Well honestly we don't recommend testing unless you develop symptoms. Should you experience discharge, itching or obvious lesions in the genital area, be seen promptly for proper exam and testing.
