Possible herpes? Or something else

I went to Urgent care yesterday due to my vulva pain and painful urination. They diagnosed me with an UTI. I've noticed pimple like bumps on the edges of the labia majora. My pelvic lymph nodes are swollen. I took the first dose of antibiotics and took a bath then decided to nap since I felt tired and was feverish. I have an awful headaches and I'm burning up. Can't check my temperature, but I know it has to be at least 100. I walk weird due to the lymph nodes being swollen and the vulva pain.

Could this be an STD? TSS? My vulva is so sore and swollen. The dr checked my cervix and I almost screamed when he inserted his finger to my vagina. Now I have pain when I tpuch anything down there. Front to back. Pimples like bumps starting from public mound to close by my anus.

What sexual activity did you have in the last 2 weeks?

You must have these bumps swabbed? Has that been done?

It does sound like you need to eliminate herpes as a possibility here, this could be a number of things though.

I went to a walk in clinic for the same reason a year ago and they diagnosed me with a UTI THREE times before I finally went to the er and was correctly diagnosed. So sorry you're going through it. Pouring warm water down there while you use the bathroon might help with the pain. The first outbreak is usually the worst, so in that light it does get better. Hang in there.

Did they do a swab. Visual diagnosis alone isn't good enough. I'm not saying whether or not your have herpes, but you shouldn't assume you do until you've received a positive swab or blood test. Swab test would only be available when symptoms are present. Blood tests would be accurate at four months. I really hope they did a swab. Also, did the guy say he cheated on you. You can't make that assumption as some people never have symptoms and carry the virus asymptomatically. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this.

No. He just gave me an antibiotic. I'd love something to numb the pain. I bawl my eyes out when I pee. I'm usually very pain tolerant.

Did no one give you anything for the pain? It's none of my business, but I read Tylenol can help and I saw this video yesterday of home remedies on you tube - https://youtu.be/vio8mA892sM.  She made it sound like the tea tree really helped and you can buy over the counter. Somewhere else I read about soaking for like 15 minutes max can help. Can't remember if they suggested Epsom salts.

I'm going to call the family doctor tomorrow or a gynecologist. If I can't be seen tomorrow, I'll go back to the Urgent Care clinic. I'm so miserable. Never had this level of pain in my life.

Thanks for the help. I hope it's not a STD.

Return for a swab immediately asking for correct typing using PCR as indicated above, checking for HSV1 and HSV2.

I had sex Tuesday morning. We've been having unprotected sex for the past two years. He lives an hour away and we both work, so it's difficult to see each other. I'm not entirely sure of his monogamy, but we agreed to stay monogamous. He's had other partners in the past.

I tried to pop them, but they hurt way too bad to even touch. They started forming on the lips, and now they've spread back to my anus. Wiping, sneezing, and kind of movement in general causes me immense pain.

The doctor at the Urgent Care clinic was young, and didn't seem too experienced. He said I definitely had a UTI and the vulva skin was extremely raw looking, as if I wiped too much.
