Possible transmission through fingers?

I have an active breakout right now.  I am on the third day of taking acyclovir.  Last night I opened the labia to look inside, using my left hand.  I did NOT actually touch the inner part of the labia, or the area immediate to the labia opening.  It was further out.  However, I forgot to wash my hands and later I flossed my teeth before I realized I hadn't.  I don't think (rationally, at least) that I transferred the virus to my mouth, but it has frightened me.  Is it only a possiblilty that has happened?  My skin was clean and dry, by the way.  Thank you!

Hi, not to worry, those with an established HSV infection in one area are basicly immune to contracting it in another, and when i say established, meaning had it for a few months. Do be careful with washing just as a precation but its not something to be overly concerned about happening.
