Type 1 probably means that you have it orally, which over half of the adult population does, and statistically, it's probably an infection that you've had for awhile. 90% of those who have oral hsv1 (think cold sores) never get a sore, so they don't know they have it.

We don't know if the false positives for hsv1 are the same as they are for hsv2. We know that anything under a 3.5 on an hsv2 test needs to be confirmed, but since we know that so many have hsv1 orally, we just haven't studied it as much.

If you've never had any symptoms, I'd assume it's an old oral hsv1 infection. You probably got it in childhood from a well-meaning adult who kissed you and didn't realize it, like the majority of people.

I know it's a stressful time with your wife cheating on you. If all your other tests were negative, that's far more important than this one. I'm sorry you're going through this.

If you have ever had a cold sore or fever blister this is the herpes type 1 igg. Have you ever had sores in your mouth for example combined with q flu or high stress ?

never had any symptoms
i have been  high stress  recently
That is one of the main issues of a blood test which means that it does not tell you where you are infected.  That in fact is a low positive which means you have a chance of being a false positive.  I would recommend you to test at 12 weeks  with an igg from another lab. I would also suggets if that comes with negative to keep on going and forget about it. If it comes with such a low number again try to find a provider o do an inmuniblot.  Herpes 1 is so common and their is a chance you caught it whne you were a child if is it that you have it. Relax
