Question about spreading HSV-1

I'm 20 and have had it for a long while now can rember when my first out break would have been a long time ago.  Last one would have been start of mid-end of september.   There is a girl I like but she will refuse to kiss me because I have had outbreaks of HSV-1 before, and she has lip piecrcings.  Is there anything I can do or is it just something that will never hapen?

http://www.ashastd.org/herpes/herpes_learn_oralherpes.cfm  has terrific info on hsv1 oral infections for more reading.

If this gal doesn't want to kiss you because of your oral herpes, that's your sign to start looking for someone else.
