Received unprotected oral from a unknown female. Herpes risk?

So I received unprotected oral. Got an STD panel done at 4 weeks. Everything is negative. Where I live they dont test for herpes unless visible liesions  show up. My question is what are the odds of catching herpes if no symptoms have shown up in a month. Also I am suffering from yeast infection which happened 1 week after the encounter. Antifungal creams seem to be effective . Is that a initial herpes symptom?

Oh I'm sorry you live in an area that doesn't like the blood tests.

How do you know it's a yeast infection? Has that been tested and shown to be yeast? Have you tried an oral treatment for that? Sometimes, that's more effective, though that really varies from person to person.

Yeast isn't related to herpes at all. It can occur with herpes, but many people with herpes have no issues with yeast at all.

Since you live in an area with no real herpes testing, you don't know if you already have hsv1 orally. Have you ever had a cold sore on your mouth? About half the adult population has oral hsv1, and 90% will never get any symptoms of that, so you may already have it. If you already have it orally, you can't get it genitally.

If you don't have it orally, yes, you could get it genitally, but chances are lower if the person giving you oral doesn't have a visible sore. It's not a zero chance, but it's lower.

At this point, if you don't have any blisters, I wouldn't worry.

Hi Aunt jessie . I have never had a cold sore in my life. Also, I have been tested for herpes in a different country so I was negative. I have yeast since I have shown it to my doctor and he gave me anti-fungal cream to use. Which has helped me. I have not had any blisters of any sort and its been more than a month. Just wanted a reassurance that I am fine at this point since all other STD tests were negative.
Got it - glad you were able to test in another country.

I don't see any reason why you need to worry. If you were negative before, and got a new infection genitally, you'd likely notice the blisters, etc. Since you haven't at this point, I'd say you're fine. :)
