HSV 1 35.40

So i had unprotected sex on may 11, i have had unprotected sex with the same person before that but that was weeks before we had unprotected sex again on may 11, i ordered a 10 panel test on the 22nd and got result back on the 25th. Everything came back negative except for HSV 1 at 35.40, now i know everything i have read on here and elsewhere say not to freak out etc but i am. When i got that results back on may 25th i skimmed the results and didn't pay attention to out of range and basically thought i was all good till today when i wanted to take a test again due to going to see someone and we will end up getting intimate. Wanted to get the test so she can be at ease. I decided to log back into the site and just clicked on my test i got back in may and actually read it, i have been HSV 1 positive all this time and i was mortified that i might have unknowingly passed it on to someone. I have kissed a couple of women between the span of that time and now but no unprotected sex. Have given and received oral as well. I have had no symptoms, no sore on my lips or anything but now that i know i have it am terrified. The woman i had the unprotected sex with back then hasn't mentioned anything and we have talked multiple times since then and nothing has been mentioned. Been trying to go back to see if i can find my previous results of any tests that i did in my email to see if it's something i had since a long time ago and just never paid attention. Any chance this is false positive? any chance the numbers have decreased since it has been a few months? the person am supposed to go see, we kissed a few weeks ago and she took a test but not sure if HSV test was part of the one she took and am afraid to ask her about it and might start thinking i gave her something. Sorry if am rambling a little but am kinda panicking here. I had no infections or outbreak or anything....how am i supposed to explain to someone that hey i found out i got HSV1 but don't worry i don't have any outbreak etc and fun fact you might have hsv 1 too. Am ordering a rapid test again hoping something will change. Some one explain to me how these numbers work

Since you took the test 11 days after the encounter, it was too soon for it to be positive from that encounter. This means that you had it before that time.

This is probably a long-established oral infection. Many people get it as kids from family members who kiss you.

Unfortunately, with an index value this high, it's not likely to be a false positive.

Yes, it's possible to transmit when you kiss someone, or when giving oral sex, if someone doesn't already have hsv1 antibodies. (About 2/3 of adults globally have it, about 50% in the US do. 90% will never have symptoms.)

You are not contagious from your genitals.

The person you are going to go see - you need to ask about test results, because remember that even though you are afraid of telling her about hsv1, she might have something else you could be at risk for.
