Scared I might have herpes? Used friends old sex toy
The last time my friend used her sex toy was about a month ago, she offered it to me because i had no income. But I recently used it, and found out yesterday she had herpes. But this toy hadnt been used until a month ago, and she went into detail about how she cleans it with hot water and soap. I am very worried I could have herpes from this. To note, i also rinsed with warm water and soap before use.

There's no risk here. Even if she hadn't cleaned it, anything that might have been on it would have long since died and been unable to transmit.

Oh and just to add - herpes is only transmitted by direct skin to skin contact. To get herpes from her, your unclothed genitals would have to come into direct contact with her unclothed genitals, and there would have to be friction, usually the kind associated with intercourse, or really heavy grinding.
