Scared sh!tless... help.

In monogamous relationship. No history of any last STD's (neither myself or my boyfriend). Went to Florida for a week where i was sweating a lot. Vagina got so itchy it felt like it was on fire. Scratched the hell out of it and tried a million at home remedies to make the itch go away. Now I seem to have cuts or sores where I was scratching.  Not sure if the sores are just from me scratching too much or if we are looking at herpes or something like that. Went to the docs today and she said nothing i have looks like herpes and did not do a swab. Did swabs for yeast infection and BV. Positive for BV. Did blood tests for all other std's including herpes. I'm scared and not convinced that its not herpes and it looks different now than it did earlier today. Even with it being open, it still itches like crazy but the open spots burn like hell too. Can anyone weigh in here?

Thanks for your response! We only had sex once the week before I left and it was 2 nights prior to leaving but was only intercourse, no oral. He says he has never had a cold sore and I've never seen him with one and been together a year.

Not  likely this is herpes but best to be sure. Did you have sex in the week before the itching began? Lots of oral sex perhaps? Does your partner get oral cold sores?

If your partner tests you'll understand the possibilities a bit better.
