Shedding

About 6 years ago I had a small lump on my genital area. Since then it's come only a few times. And only in that spot. Generally goes away quick. My dr said it was herpes. No blood work was done but she gave me a script for it. I have filled the script a few times since if I get an odd sensation in that area. And them no lump occurs. I have been with a few partners since, letting them know my story. I've never given this to anybody. But I worry about doing so. I've been recently looking at the "shedding" and wonder if this is something being done everyday or just before or after a breakout ? I know you can "shed" without symptoms . . . So is that occurring when an actual "breakout" would take place ? Even if one doesn't ? It's all confusing . . .

It just means 15% of the time. So just think of it that way. Im not sure how long the test was performed but this is the number.
