Small cut on vagina- protected sex 10 days ago- herpes?

Hello everyone, first off thank you for your help here.. I have been perusing the board before posting but can't seem to find something that addresses my concern.

I am a female who recently had protected sex with a new partner 10 days ago. He states he was tested a few mo tha ago and no STDS. I take that with a grain of salt. He also stated he has no reason to believe he has herpes (my concern here) I am know HSV 1 and 2 negative...

While routine bathing I found 2 small cuts on outer labia above my clitoris. The cuts are not bothersome except if I wipe or touch area. Looking at them in a mirror, they look like a scratch. I have in the past cut myself with my nails while wiping bathing or touching. Not sure I'd this could have been the case..

My question is how likely is it that this is genital herpes given my description above? Trying to ***** my risk and worry level..

Thank you

Herpes can appear as cuts. It’s rare since you had protected sex but it can happen
