Urethral pain/discomfort

I am a male 23, years old an
Last week I felt while sitting for a long period of time a pain in the tip of my penis like in the opening of my urethra.  I haven't felt it in a day or two but it lasted for about a week, but still comes and goes higher up in my urethra occasionally. My lower back just started hurting, along with my lower abdomen occasionally. It does not hurt at all when I urinate and sometimes I can feel my prostate kind of twinge, along with some occasional itching and pain in my urethra. I felt this same feeling about two months ago and saw a doctor and tested me for chlamydia/ gonorrhea and the tests cam back negative.I asked her about herpes and she said if it waas in the urethra I would be seeing discharge, and feeling pain and it would be inflamed or red in the tip of my penis. If i was feeling pain in the tip of my penis for a week (opening in urethra) and it were herpes, wouldn't  I see blisters or some sort of lesions, as well as pain during urination? Along with this my testicles occasionally ache as well and can notice it much more while sitting. I have had lower back pain for quite sometime now, on and off as well as some hip and some pelvic pain, but usually goes away after a week or two, so I really didn't take to much notice of it. But the reason I am worried now is because of the recent urethra pain that comes and goes throughout the day. I also seem to be urinating frequently, as soon as i drink about a cup of water, I will usually have to to go pee like its an emergency, and a lot comes out with no trouble or burning. COuld i of had my first herpes outbreak, or is this an entirely different issue

Your symptoms are common in men. I experience the same type of issue from time to time. I have dealt with a lot of men with these exact same symptoms. The one they all have in common is it's not herpes or any other std. Your Dr was correct about hsv in the urethra. The pain would be intense and having lesions inside the urethra and none on the outside is rare.
