What do I make of my results at 8 weeks?

I had unprotected sex starting June 30th and ending somewhere around July 11th.
I was out of the country at this time, and didn't have AC.  I noticed a small amount of burning, but not enough to worry about and I assume excessive discharge, but I was extremely HOT.  It could have been more sweat.

When i returned to the US, I went to doctors office. I felt like something was just not right down there.
She did a physical exam and said that my cervix was inflamed.  She didn't see any sores/ lesions.   She did a  culture and came back negative for HSV.   She also tested for several other STD's and BV.

My timeline for PCR tests are as follows.
7/19/17.
IGG
HSV1- .07
HSV2 - .08
IgM
1.11. (POSITIVE)

7/24
Prescribed 1 GM of valtrax
I took this only for 8 days and not the 10 prescribed.

7/31/17
IGG
HSV1  <.01
HSV2. .06
IGM
1.26 (POSTIVE)

I believe I started taking 500mg of valtrax on 7/31 or 8/01

8/30/17.
IGG
HSV 1. <.01
HSV 2 .06
IGM
.78 (NEGATIVE)

I'm approximately around 8 weeks post exposure.   My doctor suggests that I stop the medication , because I might have been getting a false postive for IGM.  She even suggested retesting a year from now.  She even mentioned that since I am now "negative" that my insurance wouldn't cover it.   I found this odd, considering I had two postive IGM results.
Also, I've read enough to know that IGM can give false positives.
I haven't had any visible sores. I have only had slight burning/ discharge and an inflamed cervix.  Which I've read can all be signs of HSV.

I did read a forum posted by Terri Warren in 2012 that read, if the IGG numbers ranged below .20  that normally they remained negative . My IGG number seem to be staying very consistent (negative).   Although, I'm worried if the valtrax could be working against these numbers and not providing me with accurate numbers.

Yes disregard the igm. Your igg is negative at the correct time frame.

I'm not an expert but everything I've read said ignore the IGM results.  They go up and down, they can be caused by HSV1 or 2 or chicken pox etc.  Most docs reccommend you don't get them.  The IGG results at 3 months are generally considered definitive.  I believe less than 0.9 is considered negative.  Many labs will only report the number if it is above 0.9 to avoid confusion.

Can the valtrax be keep my IGG numbers from rising?  Even with the valtrax, should the values off IGG be rising some?
