What does this mean? Low IgG hsv2 result

I never had any symptoms of a outbreak before but I recently tested positive for a low Igg Hsv2 (2.95) but my supplemental Igg test was negative. What does this mean and do I have Hsv2?

It means you might.

How long has it been since your last possible exposure? If it's been less than 12 weeks, it could be a new infection, and your numbers may be rising.

If it's been more than 12 weeks, it could be a false positive. You can take another test to see what the result says, or you can get a Western Blot test to sort it out. If it's been at least 12 weeks, it's a 50/50 chance of being a false positive.

Your doctor can order the WB, or you can go through Terri Warren, who offers them through her site - https://westoverheights.com/getting-a-herpes-western-blot/
