What is the likelihood of an asymptomatic primary outbreak?

Hello 2 months ago I had protected sex with a female partner with her sexual health status unknown. I am a 24 year old male. I am still terrified that I will have a recurrent mild outbreak. After possible exposure I didn't have any symptoms of an outbreak. So my question is. Is it possible to have an asymptomatic primary outbreak and then have a recurrent outbreak with lessons and prodrome? I have a female partner in a monogamous relationship and I don't want to infect her. I'm going to get an igg blood test tomorrow. Please help with any info :/

You had condom protected sex which is very effective at preventing std's including hsv. Hsv is not a super contagious infection. Unprotected sex with a known pos partner has  a 1 in a 1000 chance of contracting the virus.
Most outbreaks occur 3-5 days after exposure.  After ten days you can be pretty confident you did not contract hsv.
Good job using a condom.

Feelingundone is right. This government website says that the average incubation period after exposure is 4 days (range, 2 to 12) http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfact-herpes-detailed.htm#ref5
