What is the likelihood that I have HSV-2?

Hi, I'm a 25 year old male with some mild depression, anxiety and OCD issues. Last year I briefly dated a girl who told me she had genital herpes. We only ever had sex once whilst drunk and it was unprotected and when she wasn't on an outbreak. We broke up shortly afterwards as it just wasn't working out.

8 months have passed since then and I have shown no symptoms at all. I've read that if I have it though I could show no symptoms at all. I just need to know what the chances are that I have it? Is it pretty low from a one time experience like this? I tried to go and get a blood test done at a clinic here in the UK a few months ago but they told me they won't do the blood test as they claimed it was not accurate. They tested me for everything else though and it all came back negative.

I've been obsessing about this for a while and really just want to be able to move on with my life so any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sex once and no symptoms will mean the odds are zero! You can move on no problems.
