HSV-2 in my EYE

I have genital herpes that I contracted some years ago from some girl. Today I had an outbreak, and in the past when I had one I would pop the pimples, and wash the area, and it seemed to heal faster. Anyhow, today I popped one and some fluid shot in my eye!!! Does this mean that I contracted HSV-2 in my eye now??? Thank you for your help.

Thank you sooo much for the response. I am seriously worried, and this has brought me "some" peace. As suggested, I will monitor closely. Again, thank you!

Monitor the situation well, but the reality is that your immune system is likely to avoid this sort of inoculation. Most ocular herpes occurs when an oral infection runs up the nerve to the eye, rarely is it an entry point for an infection.
