Worried I contracted Herpes

I am a 17 year old gay male. 2 weeks ago I met this guy. We talked and we hung out 5 times in the first week of seeing each other. On the 3rd date we did mutual masturbation. He assured me 3 times that he has been tested and was clean. However later that week, thursday, we did oral. Saturday morning I woke up to a rash on my upper thigh, right where the seem is to the groin. It doesn't itch, hurt, or burn. I didn't even notice it until I got out of the shower and was drying off. They aren't blisters. It freaked me out and last tuesday I went to the Little Clinic in Kroger to see what was up. The physician assistant didn't seem to alarmed, diagnosed it as contact dermatitis, and prescribed me Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment to help stop the inflammation. I talked to the guy and he blew it off as nothing and was not concerned at all. I even showed him and he rubbed over it and was like "that is not herpes haha". However a week later the rash has only gotten worse. It still does itch or burn but it's freaking me out. Before this guy I hadn't done anything sexual in over 2 months. How soon can you show symptoms from Herpes after contact with the virus? Could I   have initially come into contact with it from when me just did mutual masturbation?

It could be a fungus if it is persistent, but best bet is to go back to your medical provider.

Do you have any idea what it could be? It hasn't gotten any better.

A primary outbreak of herpes is most unlikely to present itself in that manner.

Your doctor is most probably correct on this occasion. I'm sure you're fine.

Here are some pictures of the rash:
Note: they are not graphic, nothing but hair is in the picture. No private parts or anything
