could this mild itch be herpes

i have had a ongoing mild itch near my vagina for about 3months i went to my ob and she looked down there and told me she didnt see anything she did a swab test and siad no yeast or other bactiria was found. she also sent a culture off to test for ghonerra or clamydia. she did tell me that if the yeast was topical that it wouldnt show up on the swab so she gave me a topical antifugal cream which worked and my culture came back negative.. but is it possible for an ongoing mild itch with no other symptoms to be herpes?? ive never have any blisters pain, painful urination, or flu like symptoms.. but should i have gotten a blood test for herpes??

Well the cream worked but sometimes it comes back within like 2 weeks, I've always been very sensitive to yeast ive gotten yeast infections since I was a child and was told not to take baths, don't do hot tubs, were cotton underwear ect. I haven't had alot of partners but over a year ago I gave birth to daughter, it was already a planned csection due to a previous still birth. Early in prenancy I was tested for everything including HIV and hepes which was negative but towards the end of my pregnancy they told me I had trich I didn't even kno what it was I'd never had an STD. I was treated for it broke up with my fiancé. But I've always been paranoid eversince. So if it is herpes I contracted it while I was pregnant because I haven't had sex since gettin trich! I guess my question Is Is it posible for a mild itch with no other symtoms to be hepes? And since it happen so frequent wouldn't that mean my immune system was weak and cause outbreaks to be worse? And would a topical anti fungle cream make it go away like mines did? And if this mild itch where herpes would it last for over a month?? Please help!!

If the monistat helped, then I would suspect yeast.  If you are continuing to have mild itching, is it intermittent or constant?  Herpes would be only intermittent, not all the time.  Whether you should have a herpes antibody test depends on many things including your total number of lifetime sexual partners and your level of worry about herpes and the sexual history of your partners.  Other things that could cause itching are bacteria of other kinds and sensitivities to detergents or toilet paper or tampons or pads or condom allergies.  Do any of these things ring a bell for you>
