herpes symptoms

I have been getting red bumps on my penis head and shaft as well as scrotum.  They do not hurt, nor do the secrete anything, but my groin, thighs, butt, and pretty much everywhere else itch very badly.  I have only had 3 sexual partners, and the last one was over 4 months ago.  I also have a sinus infection for which I took two consecutive 10 day cycles of cypro, and am now beginning another cycle of levoquin.  I also take 50mg vyvanse for adhd.  The bumps have been increasing in number, and are all over the place in my genatalia region.  They are not blisters, but more of a pimple type, and they vary from small to large.  This is the first outbreak of any kind down there I have had, and it is very scary.  The most common thing I have been reading is herpes, but that doesnt make complete sense.  Ive texted my past partners and they all say that they have had no signs of any std.  I went to the doctor and got blood work submitted for a HSV 2 test and I am awaiting results anxiously.  Does this sound like it could be anything else other than herpes?

The biggest reason is that having caught herpes 4 months ago any outbreak you would have would be called recurrent and recurrent outbreaks are only on one side not all over the area. This only happens with recent expoure and they would occur in the first week or two on average.  Also genital herpes would be quite painful and would not occur in the scrotum area.

also I have no pain when urinating or when I get an erection.  The bumps are in no order at all, and come from all sides of the head, shaft, and scrotum

Why would this not be herpes, and what kind of fungal infections would be typical?
