looking for peace of mind

24 days ago I went for a nude massage, there was no sex or oral sex just the lady touching me. Around 10 days ago I develop some sort of rash in my inner thighs. I went to see a doctor and he recommended a cream. He said it was cause by sweat and didn't look serious. I went to another doctor today because the cream provided was making it more itchy and he said it looks like fungus, he said it is unlikely it would be herpes but if it doesn't go away after a week come and see him again. That made me worry and he said in his opinion is unlikely, he also said I should not have sex with my wife which also caused concern for me. I assume I am over reacting but would there be a test I could do a this stage just for piece of mind?

as always many thanks for your help and for the peace of mind. Would you consider nude/erotic massage to be safe from any STD? I try to do it once or twice a year, wok gets stressful and it is a form of relaxation for me.

I would. No risk from any std as long as vaginal, anal or oral sex is not oerformed (unorotected anyway)
You are at no risk from a massage or handjob.

Yes a lesion that is likely to scab the skin.

You can rest easy in terms of a herpes infection from a massage. Just doesn't happen.

Sorry about that. Phone went nuts.lol
To finish the thought. It would be an odd place to be infected.  Breathe easy as you did not acquire hsv from your massage.

I wouldn't. Like I said if you develop lesions then get them swabbed  that's responsible advice. Now that I have said that again let me say you were not at risk for hsv.
All primary outbreaks happen in the spot you were infected. W

Thank you. I think it is to do with my anxiety. I wasn't expecting to be like this after an erotic massage. I am also not very knowledgeable regarding this. It is just itchy and red so I assume it is not a lesion, by lesion you mean like a sore or something watery?

Also the fact that you have this on both sides is further evidence of jock itch or something similar.

Many thanks for the prompt reply. I assume you wouldn't recommend any test?

You did not contract hsv from her touching you. Sounds like your Dr has it right. If you develop lesions then get them swabbed but thats not gonna happen. Touching or handjobs do not transmit std's. You had a zero risk encounter.
Hope this helps

Thank you again for the reassurance. I think I panic due to the timing of the incident and that I have never experienced this sort of problem in my inner thighs before.
