Not with a urine test. But a blood test taken 3 months post any sexual exposure would confirm this and if its hsv2 it most likely is genital.

Blood, swab and visual are the only methods used to confirm hsv. There is a urine dip test to see if there are any white cells for urethra herpes but this is by no means a confirmary test for hsv. Whte cells can be produced by other then herpes so we look for antibodies as proof of an infection,
