not going away

ok so about a month and a half ago i got with someone i just met at the bar. she gave me  oral..  and we had intercourse. i cant remember if it was the next day or the day after but i noticed a blister like thing on the rim of my penis. i looked at pictures of herpes and stds online and nothing really looked like what i have. its been over a month and a half and this blister thing still there. i read herpes outbreaks only last 3-4 weeks, its been about 7-8 since it first showed up.. im hoping it was cuased due to friction from the condomn. it looks like its bleeding under the surface where the blister or whatever it is is. to embarassed to go to a doctor. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

it says in our read before posting post on this forum why we don't look at pictures or allow them to be posted. we can not diagnose here.  None of the 3 herpes experts look at pictures either.

You need to go and be seen and get a proper exam done.  There are limits to what an online forum can do to help you.

Sending us a picture won't help you any.  No one here is trained as a docotor to provide you with accurate diagnosis.  You may want to try the expert forums but you may not even get them to give an idea with pictures.  So my suggestion remains you need to go in to be seen so they can tell you.

You really need to be seen by a doctor...  Seeing that you have had this for awhile doesn't seem like it could be herpes but you need to have your doctor there check you and give their professional evaluation.

ok so its still here, and about a month ago i got a pimple looking thing an inch to the left of this herendous thing. alot more noticable when i have an erection. no painful urination doesnt itch doesnt bother me until i look at it. i never had anything on my penis until i got with that girl. alot of people say that its not std related becuase of when it came on and how long its lasted but i never had anything until i had sex with her. i wore a condomn. and she only gave me oral for a couple of minutes. so now i have that blister looking thing i know its not a blister, and a pimple. please help me someone.

I doubt this is actually a blister to be honest.  blisters won't stick around for this long -they pop rather easily.

You certainly need to follow up on this. You've ignored it long enough - time for a proper evaluation.

To answer your question, no this does not sound like herpes, but nevertheless you should see your doctor and get tested for STDs for safety's sake

Haha, no not at all. Doesn't make sense that it would stay there for two months. Plus, it would be unlikely that there would be only one lesion when in most people who have it, have more than one. Honestly, I think you just have a pimple that happened to form in that location a few days after you had sex. But, I can't see it so I wouldn't know, and I'm not a doc. Haha, and whenever I had a question about something on my body, I just went right in to the docs office and pretty much just pulled down my pants and asked him what that was. I used to go all the time when I had insurance lol. Besides, if you wait too long, it could get worse if it is something (though does not seem to be herpes).

Why be embarrassed to go to the doctor? I'm sure they see worse things than what is probably on your penis.
