the difference between shingles and herpes and do i have either one?
Okay so i been getting this pricking feeling in my inner thighs and its like its getting worse i looked up what it could be. I saw herpes a few times i read it could be a start of an out break and the sore will appear 30 min.s to 2 days. its been almost 3 it hurts and feels like it spread to my front thigh and i get this feeling on my arm and chest and side. I read it could be shedding too but i never noticed an out break of any type of open sores or blisters and i only started having sex a year ago. I don't think I'm the type not to show signs cause my immune system is not all that good especially since i barely eat healthy or work out got really bad allergies and get sick pretty easily. I looked up shingles they said a person who had the chicken pox can get this. I had chicken pox. It said it happens to one part of the body and sometimes no rash just a pricking feeling. And i guess i should add i haven't had sex for a month now and this pricky feeling i was getting on and of just a little bit and now its been there constant for two almost 3 days. No rash open sores redness nothing. I dont feel sick just tummy and belly button hurt. And I'm on depo and read it can suppress the immune system. So is this herpes or shingles or me over reacting and freaking out? And whats the difference between herpes and shingles? Can i spread shingles?!
It may be worth a shot I can't say I wouldn't do the same.lol

Guess what it was negative omg thank God. I'm so happy i could cry. And the nurse said that they were just waiting on the other people to clear it. But it was negative and they are gonna call me anyway on Monday to let me know. Thank God I'm so happy. And done having sex lbvs.

Tell me y my results are in and i have to wait two more days to know them because nurses arent in on the weekend and the online thing wont show me my up dates omg. I'm so mad

Well congrats on the tests that came back negative. I believe your hsv tests will be the same. If you have a UTI than the white blood cells make sense. They are there fighting the infection.
I also agree on seeing you reg physician at this point.

Okay my other stds came back fine still waiting on the herpe one the sore or scratch doesn't hurt anymore when i touched it. And the white blood cell thing i have no idea what she was talking about. She just looked at my discharged and saw no sign of bv yeast or trich. But she saw a lot of white blood cells i wish i could give you more info. But i think its from my uti which i am still take antibiotics for. She just said it could be fighting off an infection. And i just started spotting again i think i will have to go see my normal doctor instead of plan parenthood.
I understand you being scared but this is all going to work out fine. The white blood cells are hard for me to speculate as I don't know exactly what your Dr was talking about.
I would ask your Dr what she saw and what it means. Sounds like she wanted to test for the cause of the white blood cells.

Would be an infection down there or just in my body period? And I'm glad too but so scared and nervous lol this whole shot been cause my body to freak out.
White blood cells can be there fighting an infection. I am glad you went in and had it looked at. It's a good sign that your Physician said she saw nothing that would suggest hsv.

Okay so i went to the doctor and she said it look like just a tare, she said she dont have a feeling its hepres. But she sent it in i hope and pray it comes back fine. She said she didn't see any other sore and the one i had was beyond small and didn't seem cause me that much pain and was probably a tare. She dis say she saw a lot white blood cells in my discharge. She said that could be a cause of an infection or yeast or other things. I told her i been tested for all those things though. And she was like oh okay. What u think the white blood cells are there for.
Okay i will its so crazy its one little sore only hurt when i touch right on it.and the pricking came back. And i keep getting it everywhere I hope the sore from stressing and me not eating right and not wearing cotton panties

Sorry to be back the tingling stopped but i think i saw a open sore down by my vagina it hurts to but not when i pee over it. Could this be herpes I'm so scared. I'm freaking out and going to the doctor tomorrow and have her look at it.
Thats correct. When you read the symptoms of hsv it will state tingling itching burning. ..etc. the facts are that while these are symptoms they go with others and don't stand on their own. Example the itching comes from the sores scabbing up. The tingles are an oncoming outbreak but not the first one...etc

Nothing you describe sounds like hsv or shingles. If you had shingle you would know it.
You are over reacting by odd self diagnosis and searching the web. Go see your physician.
I am not going to get into the differences of the two but I will say your symptoms are not a sign of either.
