Large flare up, dark marks

I have just gotten another golf ball sized flare up which has now gotten some dark red blotches on it almost like a blood blisters, one of which is almost black in colour, should I be concerned or is this another common thing for this condition?
I have just tested positive for covid so obviously want to avoid going into the doctors, any help will be greatly appreciated. Tia Hayley
