Actively fine one day.. the next day taking a pill for high blood pressure.

So For a few days I have had a feeling like my blood pressure was high. I couldn't find my blood pressure monitor for that time until the 4 th day. I read 164/94 HB 114 on Sept 27th

I'm going to give a lot of info that I can here about me and my health.

I'm currently on a leave from work to help fix my health. My sleep has been very bad getting around 2h - 4 hours a day for 4 days a week while on my days off I get around 7 - 9. I have been doing this for about 2 years. My eating habit is just as bad while I work. I'm gone around 13 - 14 hours a day for 4 days a week. My job is active and I can be walking up to 10 miles a night to more than that.. at a fast walking pace. I do not wear shorts and I try to avoid the sun. I also have been taking tums - antacid tablets almost every day somewhere between 1000mg to 7000mg. Which is a lot of calcium. I have a history of 5 years of panic attacks that I got over in Feb 2012 and started work in Nov. that year. I went from inactive but skinny to active really quick. I do once in a while get anxiety.

Usually my blood pressure is low around 125 - 135 with the bottom number around 80 - 85. That inactive and active surprisingly. But the heart beat was around 80 - 95 when I was inactive. Since working, it's been around 55 - 75 resting.

I've been on a leave from work since Sept 22.. It wasn't until that next day I was feeling a little strange but not much to bother me.

So what I can gather here.. is possible low Vitamin D and increase of calcium, stress hormones.
I can understand I could have these problems, but the stress hormones should be decreased now since I'm getting around 7 - 9 hours of sleep each night for the past 7 days.

When I woke up on the 29th my pressure was 114/76 HB 54 ! I did take a pill before bed. But several hours later it was 147/90 HB 90. Then around 6 hours later 160/90 HB 97. Still hasn't been 24 hours for the next pill. I don't know what is really going on here.

I keep thinking it's the calcium and I think it's the sleep. Like my body is getting all this sleep now and my heart just decides to pump harder. I don't know. I really don't understand while my SYS and DIA decided to change that fast.

Any thought? I wanted to talk to the RN that prescribed me Metoprolol Succ 25mg and suggest getting blood work done on vitamin deficiency and calcium buildup. Couple years ago I had scans done and they pointed out that I had some calcification. Maybe this would tell something? Getting blood work. Any other testing I could do, and do you think this is just temporary?

I need help with this because my heart rate keeps wanting to touch 100 also.

Thank You!

I think you are getting overly panicked. FYI your BP often shoots up early in the morning. Around 6am it increases, its called the circadian rhythm, so it could be one reason for the higher numbers. Also you are probably there paranoid waiting to take the next reading. In this scene, its going to go up for sure. Your HR is not too bad? Normal is 60 to 100 BPM, so you are within normal range. I appreciate you are getting a bit close to 100, but dont be too worried.

Yes, I do understand it going up do to certain situations and just the normal way it works. Although I had it change in 1 hour by 30 points from 142 to 108 and back up to 127 from 1 hour to the next hour. Other than that, I did get blood work done and I do have a deficiency in D. So I'm taking Vit D2 50,000 IU.  Also I forgot to mention my heart rate did go up to 144 when I did my first reading on the 27th.
