BP/Alcohol

Hi, I was diagnosed with primary hypertension a year ago and since then have been on Lisinopril hctz and have recently changed to Micardis 20 mg. Now my BP is not normally high on a daily basis but it raises after drinking alcohol. Now my question is if my BP is high the next day after alcohol even with my meds does that mean my med is not working and I should change or is it normal for alcohol to raise BP and meds not to come into effect? Also should I continue to take my BP meds even on the days I'm sober and when my BP is normal?

Dude, it means you have to give up drinking alcohol. If you want to feel more or less normal and treat yourself sometimes , so you can try medical cannabis. It's better than most of prescribed drugs cause there are fewer tangible side effects. Here's link, read about it http://www.ncm.nl/english/mrijuana-blood-presure-hypertension
