Last night my chest and left arm begin with stabbing pains and then it got worse?

This morning it got  worse. I have a history of high blood pressure, but I keep it under control with my diet of mostly veggies. (I'm 25, by the way)
But yesterday for the first time in my life I ate a huge meatloaf, red meat, and I felt sick and fatigued after. Could this have affected my cholesterol somehow? I feel fine now. Maybe it was just trapped gas in strange places, but it hurt like knives earlier.
Thank you.
