Suddenly going off Metoprolol? What to do?

Hello, I was on Metoprolol for about 2 months,
I was taking 1 tablet per day to high rhitm and pressure
I suddenly stopped taking the medicine for about a week now

I read today that it's very dangerous to stop it. What should I do know? How much damage have been done to my heart? Should I start taking it again?

Stopping a BP med suddenly can cause rebound hypertension.  It is very dangerous.  Please contact your Dr and get advise on how to handle this issue.

Please, be careful.

You should not stop this medication suddenly. It needs to be tapered off.

I once stopped it all of a sudden and ended up in ER. Check with your doctor - as it needs to be supervised.

Stay safe!
