Is there an alternative to hip dysplasia surgery?

My parents dog was born with hip deformities. She has now gotten to the point where she needs surgery. As her symptoms of dysplasia worsen the only alternative will be to put her down. Shes only 6 yrs old. She's the sweetest dog in the world. Are there any other options besides constant prescription pain meds and invasive hip replacement surgery? Please check out her fundraising page too. Not sure if I can post this here, but the only way to save her is to share her story. www.gofundme.com/help-lexi-run-again-end-her-pain

Any suggestions on what they can do to minimize their dogs pain would be greatly appreciated. The pain meds she's on aren't working anymore. Thank you.
