A Few HPV Questions!

Hey all a few questions here to better understand HPV. First off just I'm curious if you can get any strand from any form of contact. Next I learned that bi guys are more susceptible to Anal Cancer forming HPV. If I have given protected anal but not received should I be concerned? I'm curious if something would need to enter me to get the anal cancerous strand. Or could I get it just from having the Anus touch part of my penis. Also I did read that condoms help with 80 to 90 percent but not 100 percent. I figure the odds of my partner having the strand and then me getting it and then the condom not stopping it is relatively low. But I just am worried about it!

Any information would be great! I have read a lot but couldn't really find any answers to the above.

Thanks

Hey Grace thanks for the heads up. I do not have the shots. When I become active again though I will probably take them.

I have no reason to assume that the two times I did have protected anal sex that I could have picked up the HPV strand for anal. I just read that it is more common for gay guys so I'm working myself up more than I think I should.

Thanks

do you have to be the receiver of anal sex to contract anal hpv? no you do not.
