The real problem is that I find a lot of contradictions about HPV on internet, I think there's a lot of misconceptions about that.
Find something better to worry about. Most people are here because they have actual problems with HPV. Nearly every sexually active person will get it, so promiscuity really isn't a factor. A minority of us are the unlucky people who actually get symptoms.
