Doubt about how to proceed

Hi, I noticed a couple of weeks ago a small pimple about midway up my penis shaft and got worried so i went to a clinic to get screened. I had the doctor see me and at first she was unsure about what it was cause of the size so she asked a dermatologist collegue, who again due to the size and because it was only one said it was probably nothing. However they burned it with a bit of cryo just to make sure it wasnt molluscus. Only a small part went black. When i returned for the STDs results test like 5 days later(HIV and chlamydia syophilis and hepatitis which were all negative) i had the doctor check up again and she just said i had to wait for it to fall off, and again that it was probably a pimple cause i didnt have anymore similar lesions and that HPV usually didnt come in ones.  That night it fell off. However the pimple looks exactly the same, and im not sure if their diagnostic was that accurate cause i've read a single leasion of this sort can indicate HPV and as i have a gf and practice unprotected sex or even when i masturbate i dont want to go around spreading it.. so im not sure if i should go checked up by someone else?? there is no pain or itch, however it has looked a bit redder after the cryo, now it's returning back to its skin color, and its round and smooth, it does however protuberate a litle bit.

could be so many different things. it coming back doesn't mean it's a wart for sure.

in any case, if after this week it persists is it hpv for sure or could it still be something else?

I'd follow up on this again if it gets bigger at all.  if they still aren't sure what it is, they can cut it off and send it to the  lab to find out.

has your partner had her hpv shot series yet?  have you?
