Me and my boyfirend don't want to use comdoms, what should we do?

I've been dating this boy for almost a year now. After only a few weeks after we first started having sex he discovered small bumps on his genital area and the doctors told him he had contracted hpv. It is even possible I've given it to him but the main point is that we certainly both have it. For four months we've practiced protected sex until he had finally gotten them removed. But now, only a month after the removal, he rediscovered really tiny bumbs that look a lot like warts. He doesn't want to get them checked out, saying they will fall off eventually but at the same time he doesn't want to use condoms. I am puzzled. I too don't want to go back to using condoms but i'm worried that i might get warts as well.

So i guess my question is: Do warts transmit only the virus or is it more likely i will get warts myself if i have direct skin contact with them even tough i already have the virus?

Condoms should only be used during the recovery period (after warts are removed). They have been proven to help recover and prevent more warts.  You two share the same strains now. It all depends on whether he wants to recover quick or not.

Same as my husband he doesn’t want to get them checked out.... even if he does have it... the important thing is for you to go to your doctors and get checked for any abnormalities

If you have the virus you have it there’s not way of you reinfecting him.. the problem with people still having them down the road is that they are getting re infected by the same virus or a different strain... me and my husband feel the same as you 2 but however we do not practice safe s x.. You have to understand there’s so many couples who have together and who share it together do you think that they use  you have to understand there’s so many couples who have together and who share it together do you think that they use cordons for many months to a year no....
