Spread of HPV after vaccination

I am dating a guy who has had two out of the three vaccinations for hpv, I had mine ages ago. As I have had mine does that mean that he would be unlikely to catch it from me? Thanks

If you have had your vaccine before any sexual activity, then he won't catch anything from you. But do realize that the it only protects against the 4 most popular strains.

He isn't fully protected until he gets that third vaccine. Also, the vaccine only protects him from the top 4 strains of the virus. There are over 100 strains of the virus and unless you had one of those 4, he is at risk. However, since your infection was ages ago, it is very unlikely that you are infectious. This does not mean you won't ever be infectious again, but the chances of infecting him now are really low because your infection was ages ago. You should assume you are not infectious now assuming you have had a good pap result in the past year.
