Lately i have been having intercourse with a lover and i notice that little flesh colored bumps that were a little tender to the touch were along my shaft. Also, if you've been w/ ur lover for a month only then it's not possible that you got this growth from her if it is genital warts.  you may, however, get HPV from her but symptoms like warts do not show in a months time.

those bumps are most likely HPV genital warts since you know for a fact your gf has HPV which means you have it too.  Does she still have it?
How long have u been w/ your lover (which i'm assuming is the relationship outside you and your girlfriend)?  There's no way to tell who gave HPV to you because your lover could have HPV also from you or from her previous partner(s).  About those flesh looking bumps, you could get them frozen off (cheaper and less irratible).  Keep in mind that it takes more than one session to freezing to totally get rid of ur warts and when they are not visible, that doesn't mean you don't have HPV anymore.
To make sure those bumps are, see a dermatologist if you have one or your dr that examines genitals.
