No. Go see a proctologist. He can look inside you. Your friend can't do that.
I have my anal area looked at by my roommate, who said there was nothing obviously wrong. He only saw some wrinkles at the inner edge of my anus, and small bumps that had the same color as the wrinkle, which he thought were part of the wrinkle.
Sometimes my anus is itchy, but I haven't got bloody stools. No other symptoms at my anus.
Do u think it's serious and should I have the colonoscopy ?
Then, go see a proctologist like I did. He removed my one anal wart. I never had anal sex performed on me. People get HPV warts on any part of their skin. Some people (Dr. Kaur from this site) says that people can get it from towels with secretions on it. However I have seen other sites that do not agree with this. My advice is to go see a proctologist and get their insight. I see mine now every 6 months and I was given the all clear sign last time. if you are of the age to get colonscopys, then do it too.
What you said seems to be true in real life. But I'm still not quite clear about its mechanism of transmission.
I used to be told that hpv is transmitted though direct skin to skin contact, with one skin having been infected. I really don't know hpv can transmit through indirect contact, like through contact with sheet, towel or hands that once contact vaginal secretions, can't it?
Anal symptoms are embarrassing 'cause we cannot look at it by ourselves. So I just want a clear view as to how is anal area infected with hpv without anal sex. I don't want to miss the early detection of anal cancer, and I don't want to pay unnecessary attention to it, either.
Can any advisor answer my question, please?
Genital warts like warm and wet areas of skin. Hemmoroids are also places where warts like to grow on. Anyone who is sexually active can get an anal wart, irregardless if you have had anal sex or not. I know this from personal experience.
