Hi Dr HHH,
I Have read a lot of your advice and am hoping you can reassure me. PLease read my previous posts I know the human pappiloma Virus is non enveloped and is highly susceptable to SDS (found in soap) However, I also know that the strain that causes common warts can be easily spread by towels etc. (In fact there was an outbreak of plantars warts at my gym not too long ago) How are the genital wart and cervical cancer pappiloma strains different from the "common" skin wart in that they cannot be spread by shared towels etc?
I would think there may be a small chance genital warts spread in this way (fomite)
first of all you cant pass the virus unless your skin with the wart on it comes into contact with your daughter and yes you can have it for years and it never activates and gives you a symptom my doctor told me i could've gotten it from the first person i slept with. your daughter will not get gw from you .
