what is proper treatment

Just diagnosed with carcenoma in situ-gyno said many times it was caught very early. Had D & C and cone biopsy. Gyno keeps pushing hysterectomy. I am 53, no prior abnormal paps, still menstruating, very active. I don't want surgery! Gyno not giving choices. Can't I have another cone or LEEP? Gyno doesn't give much info. Going for second opinion. Is hysterectomy the best treatment? HELP.

you should def. go for a second opinion from a different GYN you don't want to jump the gun if that is not what you want. we can't diagnose what should be done as we don't know what your doctor may see. sorry for the lack of advice
