Hi there. Im not a doctor, but will offer my opinion.
You seem to have a small issue with your BP being marginally high.
Indeed it may only be white coat Hypertension?

You should insist big time on having a 24 hour ABPM test. Its the gold standard test for BP. It gives a full day average,
shows the bp pattern and will also show how your bp is at night.
It makes allowance at the start and finish for the white coat period. IE they only use the measurements in the 21 hours to get your average.

You need to know so you must have the test.
Only then can you and your doctor make an objective decision on whether meds are needed.

BP meds are often for life, so I understand your reluctance.
Go get the test. It costs little is non invasive and is a little bit annoying, but you need it.
