does White Coat syndrome make your blood pressure go up?

Going to the doctor makes my blood pressure go up.

Yes, mine absolutely does.  At home I'm generally 132/80  but at the doctor office it can spike to 150/85

Keep an eye on that.  I've read that white coat syndrome happens but indicates an overall issue that may need to be addressed.  Glad it is just a bit high on a regular basis and not the higher number all the time!
