Has anyone who has had a hysterectomy used Amberen? Was it successful?

It seems that if it works on the hypothalamus to increase activity from a woman's hormone productng organs, WELL Am I out of luck because I no longer have any?   Everything was removed. Please help.

I have not used Amberen. I have been on estrogen since my organs were (unnecessarily) removed. It hasn't returned me to my old self but has helped a lot of my symptoms. I could barely function for quite awhile after the surgery.
