alternatives to hysterectomy

are there any alternatives to removing the uterus if you are suffering from endometriosis with heavy bleeding and possible fibroies? What if you really want a baby? help,jbt5101

There is a surgery called myoectomy that removes just the fibroids,,also a cryno(cold freeze) method....above is correct its going to depend on size and if the fibroids have invaded into the rectum or bladder..called rectocyle or cystocyle. more extensive and a bit harder recoverey

Talk to your ob-gyn or a specialist.  A lot will depend on how big the fibroids are.
