back to work?

I am 3 weeks post-op. Scheduled to go back to work Jan.11,  but I'm really nervous about returning. I get exhausted taking a shower, and too much movement puts me back in bed still with pain. I don't know if I'm just being a wuss or if I'm really not ready. Hoe long did others take to return to work?  BTW, I am a teacher, so its on my feet I'm high stress when i return.

Well I'm 6 weks post-op tomorrow, and I'm going to ring my boss for at least another 2 weeks off than go back part time for a few weeks, and build up to full time again. I am in retail, and only get to sit down for 30mins a day, so I know I just can't physically do that at the moment. I know some-one who had 6 months off after her hysterectomy, but as much as I'd love to there is no way I can afford much longer.
