medical asst for hysterectomy

my wife has an enlarged uterus and she had phybroid cysts. we live in ok. and were going to the osu clinic but her normal physician wouldnt release her med chart so we were told untill then we couldnt go there. it seemed like it was the first  and only place that was willing to help. the last thing they did was lupran shots. she really needs surgery but we dont have insurance or the money any suggestions

get legal SHE has the right to her medical charts. find a patient right advocate, most hospitals will help you find one, the dr can refuse and by HIPPA should not give her chart to you. but they must give it to her.

I don't think a physician can refuse to release your chart.  You need to check on HIPPA rights.
