post surgery

Does anyone know the symptoms of a blood clot after surgery?  I have been experiencing a pain under right rib cage when I take a deep breath. I guess I worry to much. Thanks for any input.

Blood clotting is one of the vital processes in the body, which prevents bleeding after an injury or surgery or traums. Blood clots usually are naturally dissolved in the body, when the wound or injury has healed. However sometimes blood clots are formed without any apparent reason. If the clot is not dissolved naturally, it can prove dangerous and lead to serious problems. After any surgical procedure risks exist of developing these. Your not being silly or worrying too much, its best to get this checked out. Go to a urgent care clinic ASAP, or please atleast call your doc, naturally they will not diagnose you untill they see you, they will want to do an exam, it is so better to be safe than sorry especially with the area that your describing pain...please go now !!!!! let me know how you are, you may very well just have a touch of a cold or such, but do get it checked out ...hugs,Cherie
