Uterus connected to Intestines

This is a Nightmare for me and my husband. I have been fighting myoms/fibroids for years and it seems nothing is helping. I had a laproscopy done as i was geting ready for a third operation. The Doc said they could not operate because they discovered that the womb is in larged and has connected to intestines. They could not carry on the operation to remove the multiple fibroids of which the biggest is now 9cm. The only solution is to remove the womb, they suspect the last opration which was a complicated one caused this and damaged the womb. I am in pain day and night. They told me to go home and think abt it and come back so they can make accurate alculations on how to disconnect the womb from the intestines to remove it. Trying to get pregnent is a no go area. I am so confused, scared and so depressed. Has anyone out there had there womb connected to the intestines, if so was the operation successful? Please help. I really wanted to have a child and now i can not even have an IVF done.

The medicine “Visanne” I was given through the same Dr. to my gyno has worked miracles in terms of pain at list I don’t have this burning like fire pain and cutting knives kind of pain any more. And this has given me relief so much to regenerate power again in my body. Glory be to God, like you said, things can happen for a reason.  Otherwise next week I should finalize with one of the Agencies in Ukraine. I hope all is well with you too Remar, I wish you a blessed weekend and sending you a big hug.

Hallo Remar!

My Gynecology finnaly phoned the Dr. at baby wish. You won't belive what he said. He told her sorry i can't do that tell them to try and find these centres themselves. After two months of waiting and of phoning him. He gave her 2 web sites, which i already find 2 days after we engaged him to help us. My husband was scared to tell me this news. He said darling, i have bad news, i think i will tell you tomorrow. I said no tell me now. Have you lost your Job? He said no, are you sick? he said no, then i said ah then we are safe. Then he told me and he was suprised i was very calm, and he said you are so calm. I said yes, infact this is good news, i couldn't wait to get ride of him. Two days ago i was in touch with an internation institute in Ukraine and just today they got back to me. And i forwarded him the email. There is 3 good ones. i will look at them and see which one is good to my liking. Imagine he could not tell us this, and he is the bose of this reputable baby wish in this town.

Hi Remar,

So, the Dr. who is in baby wish, here "Kinderwünsch" the one who is supposed to find us a surrogate mother decided to prescribe tablets to stop the pain. They are called Visanne, they are especially for woman with endometriosis he said they will stop the blood flow to the fibroids, which causes pain.

Which also means I won’t  menstruate. He said I should ask my Gyno. to give me a prescription. I went with this email to my gyno. Explained to her how slow this man is and the new medicine that he suggested. She said we should be a little patient because it is not allowed here in Germany, that he is trying to be maybe, careful, but nevertheless she will also try to call him and find out what the delay is. She also thinks fresh eggs is the best way. But I ask myself how long can I wait with the kind of pain I have, and that maybe they are connecting to other organs apart from the intestines only.

She agreed that the medicine is a good one. She wanted to know who will do he stimulation that I start my menstruation again. When a surrogate is find. And this Dr. said he will do it.

I don’t know I was thinking to start searching my self on the internet for this hospitals in Ukraine and India. I am sure I can find them, the only problem is my husband, he always want to go through  specialist, especially in such cases. He thinks it’s the best way. As much as he feels the pain with me.

Thanks Remar i will keep you posted. Have a blessed day my hugs to you.

I really hope your Gyno can find another specialist for you. Women can have their eggs frozen and used at a later date.
My concern is that you may have to have a complete hysterectomy, including removing your ovaries. If that happens before you freeze any of them you will not be able to have your own biological children.
I feel so terrible for you because I know what the pain feels like. It's so awful!
Please let me know how your visit went with your Gyno. Hugs to you too.   Remar

Hi Remar,

Oh thank you so much your info. makes me strong and hopful, just to know that such things also happen to others makes me strong. Beacuse i had never heard of such a thing like organz connecting to each other rather than how the creator created them to be. For me that was so strange and scary.
As i mentioned that my gyno Dr. reffered me to this other Dr. who are called here Kinderwünsch meaning wishing for a baby. They are the IVF specialist who she thought that they may "maybe" help us with searching for reliable and self surrogate mothers out side Germany. Surrogacy is not allowed here in Germany. But the problem is that this Dr. has been so slow and very forgetful. We asked him if we could maybe freez the eggs whild he is searching. He said the best would be to get them fresh beacuse only 10% survives from the frozen ones. And also looking also at my age 41, the best would be to remove them direct into the other person. I will be seeing my gyno Dr. tomorrow and will tell her how slow and forgeful the Dr. she reffered me is. I am sure she has another option for me.

And u are right this pain has really taken over my whole life. I have stoped work and i can't do most things now. The pain at one time was so much that i had started thing of writing a Will. Really it may sound funny but it is true, thats how i felt.

Remar thank you so much for your help. I can feel your care, if u where here i would just hug you. But nevertheless, i send you my hug. Have a blessed weekend.

Yes, my Dr had to dissect my uterus in to pieces to remove it because it was attached to everything. I did great during and after the surgery. It's been 25 years now.
I completely understand how your feeling about children. My husband and I were very blessed to have one daughter before I started having problems. We let nature take it's course and decided if we had one more after her it was meant to be. But after 6 years we did'nt get pregnant again and the endometriosis was just out of control. There was no other option at the time but to have a complete hysterectomy.
Like you I was worried about being a complete woman even though I had a child. My daughter is 33 and has never wanted children. She feels like and she is a complete woman. This is a personal choice of course.
Great! I'm so glad to hear your working on surrogacy right now. Do you already have frozen eggs, or is that the next step? Your eggs can be frozen for a very long time so you'll have plenty of time to find a surrogate.
I feel so bad for your pain. I know what it feels like and how it can take over your whole life.
I'm always here to talk with you and answer any questions I can.    Remar

Hallo Remar,

Thank you for your response. When you say dissect what do you exactly mean.
They managed to separate your womb from the organs that it had connected to successfully?
And how are you now. I have so many fears, maybe I will never feel well again after the op, maybe they will make a mistake during operation and cause another problem again, I will never be a woman like other women, I will never be a mother you know what I mean. We are now working on the surrogate step. It is taking long for the Doc I was referred to by my gynecologist to find one. He said the best would be in Ukraine. The problem is that I have so much pain I am wondering how long that will take before something bad may happen because of the pain. I have pain killers but it is not also good to take so much pain killers.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for responding to my email.

I had endometreoisis,a very severe case of it. My uterus was connected to everything, including the bowels. My Dr had to dissect my uterus to remove it. I came through the surgery with flying colors. A different case than yours but I wanted to let you know I did do just fine.
If I were you I would get a second opinion. I did and I'm so glad I did because it put my mind at ease. In fact, some insurance companies require it.
There are other options for having children. You could adopt or if you keep your ovaries there's a possibility of using a surrogate.
We're here to support you and answer any questions you may have.   Remar
